No Substitutes: If you don't have LED powered fog lights, then you're just behind the times! Thankfully the new Morimoto XB LED projector fog lights: Look great. Are well-built. Perform like champs. Have a virtually infinite life span. An unbeatable warranty, And best of all you won't need to sell your soul to afford them! Many of the guys here at the shop use them on their own vehicles, and they're easily one of our most popular product lines.
Compatible: With many modern applications from Toyota, these complete fog light housings will swap directly in place of the original halogen units that they're designed to replace, using all of the stock mounting locations. Their aim can be perfectly dialed in with the integrated height adjusters. Check the compatibility section below for a list of known applications.
Note about Fitment: For most Toyota / Lexus installs, these are a 100% direct fit in place of the stock fog lights. For certain fitments such as the 2014-2018 Toyota 4Runner, the mounting points are very close but not 100% identical to stock, so some minor trimming or adjustment of the plastic bracket on the fog lights may be required.
Plug n Play: Wiring is easy too! The XB LED Fogs are designed to work without any special wiring. They will plug into the factory connectors for the stock fog lights and each assembly includes all necessary connectors, rubber seals, and pigtails for a plug n play install.
Powered: By three Philips Luxeon-T 5500K LED's that produce around 1200 raw lumens per side. The projector based optics concentrate a total of 2400 lumens of pure white light into a beam that's super wide and perfectly distributed for use as a fog light. Make no mistake, these will produce a much different [better] result than slapping some LED replacement bulbs into your stock housings. The XB fogs meet & exceed all SAE, DOT, and ECE regulations.
Well-Built: Their durable polycarbonate lens will resist the test of time, keeping the housings looking new for many years to come. The powder-coated cast aluminum housing is light-weight and much stronger than comparable plastic alternatives. Doubling as the heat-sink for the LED's, the housings completely protect the internals from moisture and road debris. We've sold many thousands of these fog lights and to date, have only seen one or two develop a problem...no joke!

It fits my car perfectly even though my car is not on the compability list. I am waiting for Black Friday to buy another set for my 2017 RAV4.
Great output, light temp matches the Corolla's LED headlights very well. The housing also seems to look nicer than the stock reflectors. Way more light output than the stock halogen fogs by a long shot.
The only issue I found was that the lens doesn't stick out quite as far as the stock ones, and there is a small gap around the light. After having them on for almost a year, it looks normal to me, and I don't see it as much of an issue anymore.
Thanks to the previous reviewer on the correct pin placement. Install is easy minus fighting the plastic shroud on the 2016 tacoma to gain access to remove stock fog lights and install these. Look great and looks like shipped angle position is adjusted down enough to not have to adjust. But these can be adjusted with the set screw. Provides much better light over stock halogen fog lights. Great job TRS.
Tacoma xb lights arrive needing wires installed into plastic clip. Install instructions say plug bare wire pins into the truck light connector to ensure proper polarity before installing into plastic clip. To save you some time, with the plastic clip tab up insert black wire on the left and red on the right (flat sides in like the diagram). The metal pins on the end of the wires fit snug in the plastic clip. I was unable to push them far enough in to work when installed, I had to use needle nose pliers to pull them through the clip far enough to work. After the wire troubleshooting install was a breeze. The lights look awesome.
I give these 5 stars with a few minor criticisms. 1. Wire gauge should be a minimum 18ga rather than the 24ga just for durability of the connection. 2. The plastic mounting bolt hole tabs could stand to be a thicker heavier material. 3. It would be nice if these lights came with hard yellow covers. The yellow Laminix is hard to apply with reliable results since the lens is so sharply curved and is not as pure yellow as say what you would see on a rally car type fog light.
Just installed these lights in a 2013 Toyota Yaris SE. By now you must already be thinking, "Who mods a Yaris?" Well, I do. Just simple, useful mods like changing out my incandescent bulbs for LEDs.
One of the main problems with the stock Toyota fogs (at least on my car) is they give off way too much glare. I could see street signs above my car being lit up whenever my fogs were on. Well, these LED fogs from Morimoto solve that problem. And they're much brighter than stock! Definitely an upgrade to my car that I won't regret.
Bought as a replacement for a cracked halogen so it was time for an upgrade. Wife's 2009 Venza has the stock D2S / 4300K setup. I have to say these match perfectly! For those of you (like me) who are very particular about color and clarity let me just say these EXCEED what I have seen from even OEM manufactured housings - BMW, Mustang Fogs, and even Lexus. They give that perfect clean white output with no goofy hot spots and the housins look amazing! Even though the lens has a black inlay they still look great with the Venza brushed aluminum bezel. Will be getting another set for my 2013 Sienna SE soon!
These things are bright and emit such a clear and crisp pattern. I wish I could upload a pic for you to see how powerful these units are.
I sincerely recommend the installation. Light was more ... no, the right light has increased, it became more comfortable ride at night. It remains to see how they shine on the asphalt. It was possible to ride in wet weather, at night, I can say:
1. Although temperature in the 5000K, on the asphalt is not lost, the road can be seen well.
2. PTF glass does not heat up in the rain effect, grilling sticky dirt there, lighting level is not reduced much.
Installed theses on my 2015 Tundra. Talk about a great investment! These LED's blow the stock halogens away in terms of brighter light and beam pattern. The light is a bright, crisp, white light and the pattern expands much farther, to the sides, than stock. living in a rural area these lights improve my sight distance so I can see 4 legged critters sooner. I would go as far to say it gives an HID like improvement over stock
The only problem I have is that these LED's really upstage my halogen headlight bulbs...LOL!
Great investment and I'm going to get a set for my wife's car.
