Chrysler Canbus: Modern Chrysler products like the Dodge Ram trucks all have super picky "can-bus" systems that monitor for changes in the headlight circuit and cause all kinds of problems when doing an HID conversion. Advanced: The third generation MotoControl 8-Pin Relay has a tiny built-in capacitor that stores and releases it's charge between mode changes. So even if there's a short gap between the low and high beam signals from your car, your HID's will run smoothly. It's sealed weather-pack connector was recently updated in 2015 and is a major reliability upgrade compared to other bi-xenon harnesses.

I expected to have to do some splicing, or modifying to get the harness to work for my needs with my 03 Dodge. I've been in the automotive electronics field for over ten years, currently hold an MECP Advanced cert. and my shop currently does a lot of car audio installs, so I didn't expect it to be a big deal. What I found out was that I didn't need any prior experience to connect this harness. As a matter of fact I installed the harness, and ballasts while the paint was drying on my headlight retrofit. It was just plain easy, and the quality of the wire, and connectors was top notch. The system works with no flicker, or "bulb out" on my truck.
